Hey there, let’s talk about the iconic TV show that’s had everyone buzzing this week—'The Sopranos.' Can you believe it's been two whole decades since this groundbreaking series first premiered? That’s right, 20 years have flown by since Tony Soprano, played by the legendary James Gandolfini, stormed onto our screens and changed the landscape of television dramas forever. But here's the twist: one of the main cast members, Edie Falco, has a confession to make—she hasn’t actually seen the show!

Edie Falco, who played Carmela Soprano, the on-screen wife of Tony, turned 55 this year and recently reunited with her fellow cast members for a special 20th-anniversary panel discussion. This event took place on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the SVA Theater in New York City. As the actors gathered to reminisce about the show that redefined gritty TV dramas, Edie admitted something surprising to Extra. "I haven’t seen the show, actually," the 'Nurse Jackie' alum revealed. "There are many, many episodes I haven’t seen." Can you believe that? The woman who helped bring Carmela Soprano to life hasn’t even watched the series!

Edie also opened up about the surreal experience of reuniting with her former co-stars after all these years. "It’s completely surreal," she told Extra. "It’s just weird. It was so nice to see everybody and have a moment of like, 'Oh, this is really weird!' At least we can all be open about the fact that we all had a certain amount of trepidation about showing up. Like, what is this going to feel like, you know?" She added, "Many of these people I haven’t seen in 10, 15 years." Can you imagine the mix of emotions that must have come with that reunion?

In a recent cast interview on Today, Edie shared her favorite scene with her on-screen husband, James Gandolfini. "The first thing that comes to mind was there was a scene where he and I were in a lawn chair in the backyard by the pool," she recalled. "It was tender, but it was 'Sopranos'-esque in that it wasn’t, like, loving. It was just very, sort of, a day in the life of a long-term couple." That’s the kind of real, raw moment that made 'The Sopranos' such a groundbreaking series.
