Sam Elliott, at 74 years old, has been soaking up that love. His reaction to the nomination was as entertaining as it was honest. In his own words, his first thought was something along the lines of, “It’s about f—king time.” Now, that’s a guy who knows how to keep it real. But don’t worry, Sam quickly dialed it back to a more politically correct tone, adding, “Beyond that, it’s really about the work; it’s just about the creative process.
