Hold onto your nostalgia hats, folks! Shannen Doherty, the beloved star of "Charmed," brought a wave of warm memories when she shared an Instagram post on January 8, 2019. The picture? A magical moment captured during a date night with none other than "Scooby-Doo" icons Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., along with Shannen's husband, Kurt Iswarienko. In her caption, the 47-year-old Shannen couldn't help but gush about the night. "Everyone knows how much I love @sarahmgellar," she wrote, "but do you know how much I also love @realfreddieprinze?" The Fans Were Over the Moon
Sarah Michelle Gellar, now 41, also posted the same photo, keeping it simple with the caption, "Date night, couples edition." Fans of both "Scooby-Doo" and "Charmed" couldn't help but geek out over the unexpected crossover. One commenter joked, "[I] Hope Prue and Buffy slayed the night," while another added, "The crossover we always wanted but never got." It's clear that these legendary characters still hold a special place in our hearts.
Shannen's Year of Celebration
Although we don't know if this get-together was for a special occasion, Shannen and Kurt certainly had plenty to celebrate in the past year. Not only did they mark their seventh wedding anniversary in October, but Shannen also shared some incredible news in early 2018: she's in remission from breast cancer. While the battle with the disease may have weakened her body, it only strengthened her spirit and her acting skills.

"It’s the best time in the world for me to be an actor because I’m so in touch with every single emotion," Shannen confided to ET in September 2018. "It’s maybe a little bit of fear, but it’s also this overwhelming feeling of gratefulness and just humility. And I think the humility really is what knocks you on your feet the most and brings forth those tears. It’s also the fear that anybody else is going to go through it.”
But Shannen didn't stop there. She found beauty in the struggle. "I hate to be the person who goes, 'Oh my god, the sky is so blue all of a sudden,'" she said, "but you really start noticing a lot more things around you, and appreciating everything." We couldn't agree more, Shannen, and we wish you nothing but the best!
