Let’s face it—Martha Stewart is an icon, and at 77, she’s still making headlines. But don’t expect to find her swiping right on Tinder anytime soon. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Martha hilariously admitted she hasn’t tried the popular dating app, and for good reason. Her previous experience with Match.com was less than stellar. “It was brutal. Awful,” she quipped, explaining that the algorithm just didn’t work for her. “It didn’t fit me.”
But Martha’s not too worried about finding love online. After all, she joked that men are practically lining up at her door without any help from technology. She’s been single since her marriage to lawyer Andrew Stewart ended in 1990, and she seems perfectly content with her current setup. “I keep things simple and fun,” she said with a smile. Clearly, this woman knows how to enjoy life on her own terms.

What’s on Martha’s Plate?
Martha isn’t one to slow down, and her upcoming projects prove it. She’s currently hard at work on her 91st book, The Martha Manual: How to Do (Almost) Everything, which is set to hit shelves in January. In true Martha fashion, she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty—even on a first date. “If I’ve met a man before, I’d be happy to cook for him,” she shared. And if cooking isn’t your thing, how about a romantic horseback ride? “We’ve got some beautiful trails in Bedford,” she said, referring to her New York hometown. “It’s a peaceful place to enjoy a long trail ride together.”
A Busy Schedule with No Signs of Slowing Down
Martha might not have time for a serious relationship right now, but she’s more than okay with that. Between filming the third season of her hit VH1 show Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party with Snoop Dogg and her new role as a judge on Chopped, her days are jam-packed. “It’s a fun but long day, starting at seven in the morning and ending around seven at night,” she explained about filming the Food Network competition. “But honestly, it doesn’t feel that long because we’re sitting, drinking, and tasting. It’s the chefs who are really sweating it out!”
