Hey there! Christmas is just around the corner, and the Middleton family seems to be in full festive mode already. James Middleton, the youngest sibling, recently opened up about what the holiday season means to him in an interview with the German TV channel, Leute Heute. He said, “For me, it’s all about family. It’s a time when we can all come together and regroup.” With James expressing such excitement, some royal fans are speculating that Kate Middleton and Prince William might skip the usual royal gathering with Queen Elizabeth and instead celebrate with the Middletons this year.
James Middleton’s Vision for a Festive Family Gathering
James Middleton is preparing to host what promises to be a memorable Christmas celebration at Kate’s parents’ luxurious mansion in Berkshire, England. He’s making sure that everyone feels welcome and at home. “I want people to feel like they’re stepping into their own home when they come here,” James shared. “We’ll have all the classics—turkey, champagne, and plenty of wine. It’s going to be a warm, inviting atmosphere.”

Adding New Little Faces to the Celebration
Adding to the joy this Christmas, there will be two adorable new family members making their debut at the Middleton celebration. Pippa Middleton’s baby, Arthur, who was born just last October, and Kate and William’s six-month-old son, Prince Louis, will both be attending. Traditionally, Kate and William have joined the royal family at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham estate for Christmas, but back in 2016, they broke this tradition by spending the holiday with the Middletons. We’re curious how Her Majesty might react if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decided to skip out on the royal gathering again this year, especially since the Queen absolutely loves bringing the family together.

Meghan’s Royal Plans for Christmas
While Kate and William are still deciding on their plans, it’s been confirmed that Meghan Markle will once again join her royal in-laws for Christmas. This will be Meghan’s second year celebrating with the royal family after making her debut as Prince Harry’s fiancée last year. According to Grazia, Queen Elizabeth has extended an invitation to Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, to join them for the holiday festivities at Sandringham. A royal source told Vanity Fair that the Queen was so “impressed” by Doria during Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May that she wanted to include her in the celebrations.
