Let’s talk about a royal dream team that’s truly making headlines! Prince William and Kate Middleton embarked on a whirlwind visit to the English city of Coventry on January 16, kicking off their tour with a stop at the iconic Coventry Cathedral. This historic cathedral, originally built in the 15th century, was tragically destroyed by German bombers during World War II in 1940. It was here that Kate, who’s expecting her third child in April, showed just how incredible she is as a mom-to-be. While mingling with the crowds, she noticed a little boy who wasn’t feeling so great.

The young lad in question, a 10-year-old student named Craig Skipper, had been waiting patiently for three hours in the cold just to catch a glimpse of the beloved royals. "Princess Kate came over and handed him a sick bag," said Carole Flynn, a learning mentor at Corpus Christi primary school, according to People. "I think he was a little overwhelmed." Now, that’s what I call being prepared and caring.

Carole continued, explaining how Craig had gone quite pale. "She came over to speak to him and immediately noticed he wasn’t feeling well. She bent down and kindly asked if he was okay," Carole said. Kate, dressed in a vibrant pink coat by Mulberry — a piece we've seen her wear twice during her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte, perhaps hinting at another daughter on the way? — quickly sprang into action after chatting with the young royal fan. With her characteristic grace, Kate subtly secured a paper bag from her security detail and handed it to the boy, just in case he needed it. Luckily, the bag wasn’t needed, but it was a beautiful moment of kindness.

“It was lovely of her,” Carole told the publication. “She really took the time to care for him. You can tell she’s a mom, and she has that nurturing side.”

    Exploring Coventry

During their visit, Kate, 36, and William, 35, visited a variety of meaningful locations in the picturesque region. They dropped by Rising Cafe, a local eatery dedicated to providing work and training opportunities for young people overcoming drug and alcohol addictions. They also stopped at Coventry University and a youth services center that supports young people facing challenging circumstances.

    Upcoming Royal Adventures

It’s certainly a busy time for this dynamic royal duo! The devoted parents are preparing for a trip to Norway and Sweden on an official royal tour from January 30 to February 2. Their itinerary includes all the usual royal engagements — meeting fellow royals, enjoying gala dinners, and exploring galleries and gardens. But the Swedes decided to spice things up a bit. The couple is expected to meet stars like Stellan Skarsgård and Alicia Vikander during a glamorous black-tie dinner at the British Ambassador’s residence. Meanwhile, in Norway, William and Kate will take in Oslo’s breathtaking views, including a ski jump at Holmenkollen and a visit to the Hartvig Nissen School, where the popular teen drama Skam is filmed.
