Back in 1976, actress Jaclyn Smith hit the big time with her breakout role as Kelly Garrett on ABC’s hit drama series, Charlie’s Angels. After five electrifying seasons, Jaclyn took her impeccable taste and channeled it into a whole new world—home decor. Her Georgian colonial home, a true masterpiece, is a testament to her eye for design and her love for creating a space that truly feels like home.
A Home Filled with Love and History
In the '90s, Jaclyn bought this gorgeous property when her kids, Gaston and Spencer Margaret (with Tony Richmond), were still little. She didn’t just buy a house; she turned it into a home. Renovating several rooms and hunting down vintage furniture, Jaclyn crafted a space that would grow with her family. It wasn’t just about the structure—it was about creating memories and making the house a place where everyone felt welcome and loved.
Building a Home with Heart
"With the success of Charlie’s Angels, I finally had the means to buy my own home," Jaclyn shared in a March 2009 blog post for Guideposts. "But I wasn’t looking for something perfect. I wanted a place that needed some love and attention. That turned out to be half the fun! And as our family grew—with the birth of our son, Gaston, named after my minister grandfather, and then our daughter, Spencer Margaret, named for my mom—I kept that same spirit alive. I let the kids have rooms that reflected their own personalities, even if it didn’t always match my style. It was all about making them feel at home."

A New Chapter with Love
Jaclyn married her fourth husband, the talented surgeon Brad Allen, in 1997. While her kids have grown up and started families of their own, Jaclyn still feels an overwhelming sense of gratitude every time she walks through the front door. Even on quiet days when it’s just her, Brad, and their dogs, the house feels alive with memories.
"Even when it’s just the two of us and our furry friends, my home feels full," Jaclyn explained. "Every corner is filled with pieces that mean something to me. The books remind me of the loved ones who gave them to me, the antiques bring back memories of flea market adventures with friends, and every surface is covered with family photos. From my wedding to Brad to the kids’ baptisms, graduations, birthdays, and Christmases, this house holds so much of our story."
A Home That Reflects Her Style
Every detail in the Free Fall star’s home serves a purpose.
