Sharon Stone: A Journey Through Motherhood And Hollywood

Sharon Stone's Kids: Meet Children Roan, Laird and Quinn

For Sharon Stone, being a Hollywood star wasn’t just about the glitz and glamour—it’s about balance. She’s as natural a mother as she is an actress, with a parenting instinct that shines through her life with her three sons, Roan Bronstein, Laird Stone, and Quinn Stone.

Sharon Stone's Inspiring Journey: Motherhood, Hollywood, and Beyond

From Heartbreak to Joy: The Start of Sharon's Family

The star of Basic Instinct began her journey into motherhood during her marriage to her second husband, Phil Bronstein. But it wasn’t without its challenges. In 1998, Sharon and Phil tied the knot, only to face the heartbreak of two miscarriages. Despite these setbacks, they didn’t give up on their dream of starting a family. Adoption became their path forward.

In 2000, just one week after their son’s birth, Sharon and Phil welcomed Roan Bronstein into their lives. The joy of parenthood was overwhelming, but it wasn’t meant to last. By 2004, Sharon and Phil had parted ways, yet their love for Roan remained unshaken.

After her divorce from Phil, Sharon chose to continue building her family on her own. In 2005, she adopted her second son, Laird Stone, and a year later, in 2006, she welcomed Quinn Stone into her life. Sharon proved that a successful career in Hollywood didn’t have to come at the expense of a loving family.

Despite the demands of her acting career, Sharon never took her role as a mother for granted. In an interview with AARP magazine, she confessed that her family had become her top priority. “I’m loving raising my kids,” she said. “Humanitarian causes and my children are now much more important to me than the Hollywood scene, being liked, or getting movie parts.”

Motherhood: A Journey Filled with Love and Challenges

The Quick and the Dead actress often reflects on the challenges of motherhood, acknowledging that it wasn’t always easy. In 2017, while accepting the Mother of the Year award from the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies, she expressed her gratitude. “Motherhood didn’t come easily,” she admitted. “But it came lovingly to me by angels.”

Sharon’s family, now complete with her three sons, is a testament to her resilience and love. “We’re a happy and lucky family,” she proudly declared. “That is the credo we stand for.”

Creating Memories Amidst Life's Ups and Downs

Making memories with her children has always been Sharon’s priority. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, Sharon opened up to Closer magazine about the unexpected blessings of lockdown. “Well, this has been a blessing of COVID,” she shared. “The kids went to school online, and I was at home most of the time. It’s been wonderful. My kids are in their late teens and early 20s now, so it’s rare for parents to get much time with their kids—or for kids to even want to spend time with you.”

She added, “Even though they spend a lot of time in their rooms and on their computers, we were at least in the house together, which I thought was really lucky. Normally, your kids don’t want anything to do with you at this age. So, it was great to have the opportunity to observe them growing up.”

Despite her busy schedule, Sharon’s heart remains rooted in her family. In March 2022, she made her debut in the gaming world with a commercial for Slotomania, the top play-for-fun slots game from Playtika. In the ad, she was transformed into an animated superhero called Captain Slotostar. Yet, even with this new chapter in her career, Sharon’s favorite role remains being a mom.

“I don’t really talk to my kids very much about my work,” she explained. “It’s much more important to me to be their mom.”
