Hey there, friends! So, here’s a fun update for you: Drew Barrymore has officially embraced her title as the ultimate cat lady! Recently, she took her two daughters, five-year-old Olive and three-year-old Frankie, to adopt a single cat. But guess what? They just couldn’t resist bringing home not one, but three adorable little kittens! Drew couldn’t wait to share the heartwarming moment with her fans on Instagram, posting a sweet picture of herself snuggling up with the furry bundles of joy. Check out the video below to see the cuteness unfold!

Drew’s Passion for Animal Rescue

Let’s take a moment to talk about Drew’s commitment to rescuing animals. The 42-year-old actress has always been an advocate for giving animals a second chance at life. These three new kittens have now joined Drew’s rescue family, which already includes her beloved dog, Douglas. Last December, Drew shared her support for the ASPCA in response to the devastating California wildfires that wreaked havoc on the state. It’s evident that helping animals is one of Drew’s deepest passions in life.

She expressed her heartfelt sentiment in an Instagram post, writing, “This is my Douglas. He’s a rescue from the San Fernando Valley. With all the fires and floods and tragedies that have changed people’s lives overnight in our country, many folks have pets that are family members as well. Animals need us, too. I’m sharing this because I support this incredible organization, and they need all the resources they can get, especially after such a difficult and overwhelming year of disasters. Please give any time or money you can to help take care of our pets. They take care of us right back!” So true, Drew!

    A Growing Family

Now, Drew has her hands full with three new kittens, two dogs, and her two adorable daughters. She shares her kids with her ex-husband, Will Kopelman, and the couple divorced back in August 2016 after four years of marriage. Despite the split, Drew has been open about their co-parenting journey and creating a harmonious environment for their children.

In a February 2017 interview, Drew shared her perspective on modern family dynamics. “You know, it’s interesting, I saw this article the other day written about me — and I don’t usually read articles about myself — but it was titled ‘My Modern Family.’ I really liked that; it has a nice ring to it,” she said. “It’s all about the tone you set. You can talk until you’re blue in the face, but kids observe everything you do every single day of your life, all day long. That behavior, that example, that love, community, and honesty are what make everything feel safe for my kids.”
