Hoda reminisced about the magical moment when Haley took her very first steps. “One day, seriously, she took a nap, woke up, and started walking. I didn’t even know when or how it happened. She was just up and about, like, ‘Okay, I’m outta here!’” Hoda laughed, recounting the story to host Ellen DeGeneres. “And just like that, she was toddling around. They take a nap, they wake up, and suddenly you’ve got this Frankenstein walk happening!” It’s these little moments that make parenthood so magical, and Haley’s first steps are proof of that.

That’s why they added the name Joy. Hoda even jokes that if they have a son, he should have the middle name Joy too!”
